ARCS2 is a software-only remote access solution that allows you to troubleshoot, program or even control your Universal robots. ARCS2 comes with UR Cap, for direct installation on the UR robot’s teach pendant.
You get remote access to your local (LAN) Universal Robots using VNC (or SSH). Most standard VNC clients work, e.g. the commercially free TightVNC.
If the need arises for remote access to Global (WAN) Universal Robots, this is also possible using a VPN connection. OpenVPN is an open source VPN client that is capable of this, but any VPN client can be used.
