The OnRobot Sander comes with everything you need to get started right away: plug-and-play sanding tools, a versatile range of standard sanding and polishing discs, easy-to-use software and optional Grit Changer and torque sensor. You absolutely do not need a noisy and expensive air compressor for this affordable electric grinder.
Use this flexible tool for a wide range of partial geometries and materials to achieve greater uniformity, better finish quality and less waste. You reduce the amount of dust in the workplace by using standard 3M discs for clean grinding, and you reduce the risk of personal injury caused by the vibration of manual grinding tools.
Programming for simple finishing tasks can be accomplished with basic knowledge of robots — no additional training is required. The grinding tool’s software is automatically integrated into the robot’s programming console, but a manual “save position” button on the tool enables even easier waypoint settings without the use of the programming console. The Sander software has various route planning options – route from hand control, shape and points – and allows users to adjust the rotation speed with optimization of cycle time and uniformity.
All the advanced features of OnRobot Sander are supported on Universal Robots arms, but it is easy to integrate the tool with all the major robot brands.
