The cooperating UR3 robot is a small, compact collaborative robot, which is perfect for light assembly tasks and automated work tables. The compact collaborative robot can also be used on a separate workstation – mounted on the table – where it can pick, assemble and place parts in an optimized production flow. Due to the compact shape and easy programming, it is easy to switch between tasks so that the need for flexible manufacturing is met, leading to lower total cost of ownership and fast payback period. The UR3 robot can be used for many purposes in the manufacturing sectors, from medical devices over printed circuit boards to electronic components.
With UR’s patented technology, users without programming experience can quickly set up the collaborative robots and operate them using intuitive 3D visualization. Simply move the robot arm and show the movement it is to perform, or press the arrow keys on the user-friendly, touch screen.
