As an intern at Technicon, you will gain unique insight into a project-oriented workflow – you will experience taking the theory you know from your studies and see how it interacts with real timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and the interdisciplinary collaboration needed to implement mechanical solutions together with colleagues from other teams – and much more.
You will primarily work on a project together with colleagues from the mechanical design team under a project manager who sets the framework for the work. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence the tasks you prefer – whether you want to dive into new or familiar tasks, independent or group-oriented, large or small. No matter what, you will never be left alone, and you should never hesitate to ask questions if you are in doubt along the way.
What do we offer you?
As an intern here, you will also gain insight into the practical aspects of mechanical design through Technicon’s in-house production. You will receive real feedback on your technical drawings and advice on how to improve them – you will experience the process from brainstorming and idea generation to CAD modeling, technical drawings, and finally a physical part you can hold in your hands.
Many colleagues and fellow interns live in Aarhus and Aalborg, so a car-sharing arrangement is definitely realistic.
At Technicon, interns are welcomed exceptionally well. You get to work as part of a real team and almost feel like a full-time employee – you’re not just standing on the sidelines.
