Working with SBTi, Science Based Targets initiative, our ESG efforts are built on data and facts: not opinion. We consider data driven approach for credulous and crucial to achieve our ambitious goal of having a zero-carbon footprint in 2050 by the latest.

In both Scope 1, 2 & 3 we work in close cooperation with both suppliers and customers

• In Scope 1, we work with emissions that come directly from Technicon’s own activities. This e.g. means that we out phase fossil based fueling both in terms of heating and transportation, thereby reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and thereby reducing our direct CO₂ emissions. 

• In Scope 2, we focus on the energy we use in our buildings and production: e.g. establishing solar cells panels on the top of our building and installing heat pumps.

• Since emissions occur throughout the value chain with many stakeholders and a variety of activities, Scope 3 is the most complex focus area with the largest impact. Here we e.g. accelerate our sustainable purchasing policy, we offer low emission logistics, circular thinking in each of our activities, the use of refurbished computers/electronics and more efficient waste sorting.
  

Simultaneously, we offer green steel with significantly reduced carbon footprint.
