SOFTWARE INTERN

SOFTWARE INTERN

Are you studying to become an Automation Technologist or similar and need an internship? Then keep reading.

About the Internship

As an intern, you will work with programming PLCs and robots within concept development, design, and manufacturing of robotic systems and special-purpose machines.

What can you expect as an intern at Technicon?

As an intern at Technicon, you will gain unique insight into a project-oriented workflow – you will experience taking the theory you know from your studies and see how it interacts with real timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and the interdisciplinary collaboration needed to implement your solutions together with colleagues from other teams – AND MUCH MORE.

You will mainly work on a project together with colleagues from the Software team under a project manager who sets the framework for the work. Here, you will have the opportunity to make an impact and contribute ideas to the tasks you are given. Whether the tasks are independent/group-oriented or large/small – no matter what, you will not be left alone, and you should never hesitate to ask if you are in doubt along the way.

What do we offer you?

As an intern, you will also get to see the practical side of what you create thanks to Technicon’s in-house production. You will receive real feedback on your code and advice on how to improve it – you will experience going from brainstorming and ideas to documentation, programming, simulation, and finally to a physical machine that needs commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Many colleagues and fellow interns live in Aarhus and Aalborg, so a car-sharing arrangement is definitely realistic.

At Technicon, interns are welcomed exceptionally well. You get to work as part of a real team and almost feel like a full-time employee – you’re not just standing on the sidelines. There is a strong focus on well-being, which you’ll experience through many leisure activities. Plus, it’s incredibly cool to be able to tell others about the areas you’re working in!
